Despite his jovial nature, Vasu faced challenges due to his trusting demeanor. He initiated projects like the Adyar Gate Hotel and supported Carnatic music through the Youth Association for Carnatic Music. Known for his philanthropy, the event's proceeds will benefit the Balamandir Kamaraj Trust, aiding underprivileged children across the state. Noteworthy guests like L. Subramaniam and T.M.
