BMW Group India Achieves Record Car Deliveries in H1 2025

BMW Group India has reported its highest-ever car deliveries in the first half of 2025, with 7,774 BMW and MINI cars and 2,569 motorcycles sold between January and June. The company's success continued in the second quarter, with each month achieving best-ever sales figures. Mr. Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, expressed satisfaction with the +10% growth the company experienced despite a challenging environment. The company's focus on electric mobility has paid off, with a remarkable +234% growth in electric vehicle (EV) sales in the first half of the year. BMW Group India has been the leader in luxury EV sales in India for the past three years, with 1,322 BMW and MINI EVs sold in H1 2025. The BMW iX1 Long Wheelbase emerged as the top-selling electric car, followed by the BMW i7. The company's comprehensive EV initiatives, including BMW Destination Charging and Charging Concierge services, have been well-received by customers. Apart from EVs, BMW's long wheelbase models saw a significant +159% growth in H1 2025, with models like the BMW 7 Series and BMW 5 Series driving sales. The BMW Luxury Class, comprising flagship models like the BMW 7 Series and BMW i7, continues to be highly sought after in the luxury market. BMW Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs) recorded a +17% growth in H1 2025, with models like the BMW X1 and X5 leading the sales charts. MINI also saw positive growth, with the MINI Cooper S being the top-selling model. BMW Motorrad delivered 2,569 motorcycles in the same period, with models like the BMW G 310 RR and BMW S 1000 RR gaining popularity. BMW Group India's Retail.NEXT initiative aims to enhance the customer retail experience, while BMW India Financial Services provides innovative financial solutions to customers, driving sales and loyalty for the group brands.
