FDA Recalls Alma Pak Organic Blueberries due to Listeria Contamination

The FDA has announced a Class 1 recall, the most severe type, for Alma Pak Organic Blueberries due to potential Listeria contamination. The affected products were distributed to stores in several states. Consumers are advised to look for specific UPC and lot numbers on the packaging. Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
