The ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ camps are scheduled to start on July 15 in six wards of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC). Volunteers will distribute application forms door-to-door starting Monday. The public will receive details about services and required documents a week in advance to prepare. Medical services will also be available at the camps, and applications will be processed within 45 days. The specific wards hosting the camps on July 15 include Ward 25 under Madhavaram Zone, Ward 38 in Tondiarpet Zone, Ward 76 in Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar Zone, Ward 109 in Teynampet Zone, Ward 143 in Valasaravakkam Zone, and Ward 168 in Adyar Zone. The camps will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two camps will be conducted in each of the 200 wards from July 15 to October 31, engaging approximately 2,000 volunteers in the process. The initial phase, spanning from July 15 to August 14, will cover 109 wards. The comprehensive initiative aims to streamline and expedite the process of accessing public services for the residents of Chennai.
