PUNE: The Sinhagad Road police arrested Vadgaon Budruk residents, Dada More (26) and Kiran Shinde (25), on Sunday night for attempting to extort Rs 50,000 from a small-time builder (45) in his Hingne Khurd office while threatening him with a country-made pistol. The builder lodged a complaint with the Sinhagad Road police against the duo. Senior Inspector Dilip Dhaingade mentioned that More's criminal record and self-identification made it easy for the police to nab them. The duo claimed to have received a contract to kill the builder, demanding money to spare his life. However, their plot was unsuccessful, leading to their arrest. Stay updated for more details.
