The Government Hospital in Alangudi, Pudukkottai District, has been honored with the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) and Kayakalp certification for the year 2025-26. The assessments focused on professional knowledge, service, cleanliness, and departmental performance. NQAS, initiated in 2013, aims to improve healthcare quality in government facilities, while Kayakalp promotes cleanliness and infection control. These efforts have led to reduced infections, quicker patient recovery, and improved doctor-patient relationships.
