In Albuquerque, New Mexico, former UFC star Diego Sanchez was arrested after a gunshot was fired from the white Jeep he was riding in on Interstate 40. Although Sanchez claims he did not shoot the gun, the driver stated otherwise to the police. He was charged with shooting from a moving car and careless gun use, and remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing. Sanchez, known for winning the first season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2005, was released by the UFC in 2020 and now finds himself entangled in legal troubles.
