Revelations in Balasore Self-Immolation Case: College Principal Confronted Student with Unfavorable Inquiry Report, Claims MP Sarangi

The principal allegedly demanded an apology from the student on the same day she took her life. The MP welcomed a judicial inquiry and dismissed politically motivated allegations against him. The case is currently under investigation by the crime branch to uncover various aspects of the incident, including the source of petrol used, the truth behind the harassment allegations, and the institutional response. A UGC team is also conducting a separate inquiry to track events leading to the student's death.
