A couple from Connecticut, Trista L. Reilly, 43, and Christopher Drew Arnold, 42, has been released after being arrested for allegedly engaging in lewd behavior aboard a JetBlue flight originating from New York to Sarasota. According to court documents made public by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, the alleged misconduct occurred at about 10:28 a.m. A concerned mother told a flight attendant that two passengers were engaging in sexual acts while seated nearby. The minors corroborated this claim, indicating that they directly witnessed the occurrence. In response to the situation, JetBlue has permanently banned both individuals from flying with them again. Immediately upon receiving the report, our crewmembers acted swiftly to engage JetBlue’s security team and law enforcement. We are fully cooperating with the investigation, and these customers are no longer welcome to fly JetBlue." The flight ultimately landed at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport around 11:30 a.m., where both Reilly and Arnold were taken into custody.
