Over 5.34 million parents, teachers, and other stakeholders from 61,000 schools participated in this mega gathering, which highlighted the collective efforts of educators and families in enhancing the educational experience for students. The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh spearheaded the initiative, drawing a reported footfall of 1.5 crore, which included not just parents and teachers but also students, alumni, school management representatives, and philanthropists. This remarkable recognition is expected to lead to the development of what has been termed an 'Andhra model of public education,' a framework aimed at improving quality and performance across various aspects of the education system. Mr. Rao explained that achieving such global recognition will bolster the State Education Department's efforts in restructuring and elevating educational practices. The award from Guinness World Records is set to be presented to the State authorities in the second week of August during a special event in Amaravati, which will celebrate this monumental achievement in education.
