The auspicious timing for this Ekadashi begins at 11:41 AM on August 4 and concludes at 1:12 PM on August 5. Interestingly, astrologers mention that Ravi Yoga will be present on this day. Worshippers are encouraged to offer prayers during this auspicious time to enhance their health and prosperity. The significance of Putrada Ekadashi is particularly profound for couples desiring children. It is believed that those who observe the fast with true devotion are granted the boon of a child. Following Putrada Ekadashi, Aja Ekadashi will be celebrated on August 19, 2025. This day, occurring after the Dashami of the Krishna Paksha in the Bhadrapada month, is also known as Annada Ekadashi. The Ekadashi tithi begins at 5:22 PM on August 18 and ends at 3:32 PM on August 19. This festival, much like Putrada Ekadashi, holds spiritual significance, with worshipping during this time understood to cleanse past sins and wrongdoings. Consequently, both Putrada and Aja Ekadashi offer opportunities for devotees to deepen their connection with the divine while seeking blessings for a more fulfilling and prosperous life.
