Jasprit Bumrah, India's star fast bowler, was in sparkling form during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy but played only three of the five Test matches. In these games, he shone brightly, taking 14 wickets, including two thrilling five-wicket hauls, bowling nearly 120 overs at an average of 26. Despite this, some fans criticized him for not playing more or taking 'full responsibility.' On his YouTube channel, he passionately defended Bumrah, saying, "There was talk about how India couldn’t find a better captain than Jasprit Bumrah." He reminded everyone that Bumrah was even vice-captain under Rohit Sharma and had led the team successfully in Perth. Chopra expressed his shock and sadness at how fans turned from praise to trolling, pointing out, "From being ‘Boom Boom Bumrah,’ our fans have now become ‘gumrah.’ I’m surprised and saddened by this." He urged all Indian fans to show respect and appreciation for Bumrah’s huge talent and contributions. Bumrah was left out of the fifth Test at The Oval and released from the squad ahead of day two’s play to manage his workload carefully. Chopra explained, "If managing his workload means he can continue playing in key matches without breaking down, I’d do whatever is necessary to make that happen." In short, Jasprit Bumrah is no ordinary bowler; he is the top bowler in the world across all formats right now. When he shines, India’s bowling attack shines. So, instead of doubting or disrespecting him, fans should celebrate this once-in-a-generation cricketing star!
