The women’s final is scheduled in Ranchi on January 30, creating back-to-back hockey fever across cities. Ahead of the leagues, a mini-auction for men’s teams is planned for September 23 and 24. Sources say that all franchises are expected to retain most of their star players, ensuring strong teams and fierce competition. It’s been a long wait for Chennai hockey fans. The city last saw a hockey league back in 2012 when the then Indian Hockey Federation and Nimbus ran the World Series Hockey. Now, the city is set to roar with excitement once again!
