Syko Stu Speaks Out After Shocking Raja Jackson Attack: Injuries and Hopeful Recovery

September 2, 2025

Syko Stu, known in the ring as Stuart Smith, has shared his first update after a shocking and brutal attack by Raja Jackson at a wrestling event in Los Angeles. On August 23, 2025, during a KnokX Pro show, Raja Jackson, son of ex-UFC champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, stunned fans by unexpectedly slamming Stu to the mat and punching him over 20 times. The attack included 18 punches just to the head. The violent moment was captured live and shocked everyone watching.

Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. In an update posted on August 31, 2025, Stu revealed he had a severe head injury and was unconscious upon arriving at the emergency room. His injuries are very serious: broken upper and lower jaws, a cut on his upper lip, a fractured maxilla bone, and the loss of some teeth. Despite all this, Stu remains hopeful and positive. He said, “He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.” Stu and his fiancée, Contessa Patterson, also thanked all the kind supporters who sent money, food, flowers, and gifts, saying, “Your kindness means more than words can express. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”

The attack's story started earlier that day when Syko Stu hit Raja Jackson with a beer can as part of a planned, fun moment during the show. They seemed to patch things up at first. But the situation spiraled out of control when Raja went off script, slamming Stu and hitting him repeatedly until other wrestlers stopped him.

The Los Angeles Police Department is now investigating Raja Jackson for felony battery, but no arrest has been made yet. Many in the wrestling community are shocked and saddened by what happened. MMA fighter Matt Brown called the attack “a f**ked up situation” and said Raja should face serious charges. The wrestling world waits closely as this drama unfolds, hoping for justice and Syko Stu’s full recovery.
