Police Arrest 6-Member Theft Gang in Patiala, Recover Stolen Vehicles and Mobiles

In Patiala, the city police cracked down on organized theft activities by arresting six individuals associated with a theft gang. The gang was involved in various cases of vehicle and equipment theft in rural Patiala. The arrests were made by a police team led by SI Sukhdev Singh, SHO Bakhshiwala, and ASI Harbans Singh. The suspects were apprehended from villages Rakhra, Nawan Rakhra, and Kalyan. The operation was part of the police's ongoing effort to combat anti-social elements in the district. During the raid, the police successfully recovered a stolen tractor, rotavator, motorcycles, and mobile phones. An FIR was registered under case number 37/25 at Police Station Bakhshiwala. The modus operandi of the gang involved targeting unattended vehicles and agricultural equipment left in open areas or near houses. The stolen items were then sold, and the proceeds were divided among the group members. The arrested individuals were identified as Vikram Singh (31) from Nawan Rakhra village, Parminder Singh alias Magha (24) from Kalyan, Gagandeep Singh alias Guddu (26) from Nawan Rakhra, Sukhveer Singh alias Sukhi (27) and Bobby Singh (24) both from Rakhra village, and Satnam Singh (22) from Nawan Rakhra. The police are conducting further investigations to uncover the full scope of the gang's activities and identify any additional accomplices.
