Gurlin Dhadda, the daughter of Harjeet Singh Dhadda, a businessman based in Brampton, issued a statement following her father's fatal shooting in Mississauga, Ontario. The 51-year-old Canadian resident succumbed to the attack despite reporting threats and extortion, which went unanswered by the police. Community outrage is mounting due to the government's failure to prevent targeted violence. The Lawrence Bishnoi group claimed responsibility, alleging Dhadda's association with the Khalistan Tiger Force chief. In response, Dhadda's son, Tanveer Singh Dhadda, insisted his father had no criminal involvement and lived an honest life. The perpetrators remain at large, with the investigation ongoing.
