Former President Donald Trump turned up the drama on Wednesday, calling his trip to the United Nations a stage for “three very sinister events.” While at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, where he fiercely criticized the global body and even his European allies, Trump encountered a series of mishaps that he claims are no accidents. First, as Trump and his team were riding an escalator, it suddenly came to a "screeching halt." Trump didn’t take it lightly, blasting it as "absolutely sabotage." Stephane Dujarric, the U.N. spokesman, explained that a U.S. videographer who rushed ahead might have accidentally triggered the stop button at the escalator’s top. But Trump fired back on his social media site Truth Social, saying, "The people that did it should be arrested." Next up: the teleprompter failure during Trump’s big speech. According to a U.N. insider, the White House handles the teleprompter, meaning the fault likely wasn’t on the UN side. Still, Trump said the screen went “stone cold dark,” making the speech harder to deliver. Last but not least, Trump said the sound at the UN was off. Only those with interpreters' earpieces could hear him. Even Melania Trump reportedly told him she couldn’t hear a word! With all three issues piling up, Trump declared, "This wasn't a coincidence, this was triple sabotage." Demanding answers, Trump wants the UN to keep security footage from the escalator incident. He revealed the Secret Service would join the investigation to unravel this tangle of technical troubles and possible sabotage at one of the world’s most important platforms. Is this a big tech blunder or something more sneaky? Trump sure wants to find out!
