A tense moment shook the famous Poes Garden in Chennai when a bomb threat email targeted the home of Vice President C P Radhakrishnan. But don’t worry! The Chennai police were quick on their feet. They rushed a special Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) team and a sniffer dog to check every corner of the residence. After a detailed search, the officials gave a relief blast, saying, "The threat appears to be a hoax." This wasn’t the only one – police have been receiving a flood of such scary email threats over the past month. Now, investigators are working hard to trace the mystery sender behind these digital alarms. The message first reached the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, setting the emergency wheels in motion. Thankfully, no harm came to anyone, but the police have warned people to stay alert. So, while it may have been a false alarm, it sure kept the city’s security team on their toes!
