For every successful Digital Life Certificate generated, a small fee of Rs 70 (including GST and cess) applies if you download it yourself from https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/ppouser/login. But here’s the good news — no extra doorstep charges apply for IPPB or non-IPPB customers. If you use PSB doorstep banking service, it’s absolutely free for seniors aged 60 and above for the Digital Life Certificate! Before you start, keep these handy: your Aadhaar number, mobile number, pension type, sanctioning authority, disbursing agency, PPO number, and pension account number. Remember, your Aadhaar should already be linked with your pension provider. How to book doorstep service from PSB? It’s as easy as 1 to 19 steps: - Open the DSB app on your phone and enter your mobile number. - Verify with PIN, OTP, or fingerprint. - Select your bank and enter your PIN code. - System checks if service is available in your area. - If yes, system gets permission to access your bank details. - Verify with OTP and see your masked bank accounts. - Choose your account and pick service type, address, and time slot. - Confirm details and pay service charges. - Get booking confirmation with service ID and verification code. - On service day, agent details are shared. After your life certificate is submitted digitally, you get a confirmation SMS with the transaction ID. Keep this safe!
