Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has spoken out against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) following MLC Kavitha's letter to her father, BRS chief K. Chandrashekhar Rao, which highlighted an alleged alliance between the BRS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Prabhakar criticized the BRS for its previous denials of the alliance, stating that the letter echoes Congress' claims. He accused the BRS of softening towards the BJP during their time in power and alleged backdoor deals between the two parties. The minister also criticized BRS leaders, including K.T. Rama Rao, for their response to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the BJP alliance. He emphasized the importance of addressing the concerns raised in Kavitha's letter and called for transparency within the party. Prabhakar expressed disappointment in the BRS' alleged lack of democratic values and urged leaders to confront the issue rather than remain silent. The minister also commented on the Enforcement Directorate's investigation into the National Herald, labeling it as 'political harassment'.
