Zee Entertainment is on fire! It has reached a fantastic three-year high by grabbing a huge 28.7% share in the Hindi movie broadcast segment during Q2FY26. The superstar of this rise is Zee Cinema, which grabbed back its crown as the No. 1 Hindi movie channel in the 15+ HSM Urban market. How? Thanks to smashing premieres like Jaat, Game Changer, and the blockbuster Pushpa The Rule Part 2. Pushpa stole the show by delivering the highest rated movie premiere of FY26 so far, making all eyes glued to Zee Cinema. But that’s not all! Zee’s free-to-air champs, Anmol Cinema and Zee Action, weren’t far behind—they scored the highest reach across all channels and genres, capturing over 116 million viewers each in the 15+ HSM Urban market. Imagine that many movie lovers tuning in! Zee’s magic doesn’t stop with Hindi films. In regional markets, Zee Talkies, Zee Yuva, and Zee Chitramandir ruled Marathi movies with nearly a 50% market share, helped by the smashing premiere of Phullwanti. Meanwhile, Zee Thirai, Zee Cinemalu, and Zee Biskope proudly held top spots in Tamil, Telugu, and Bhojpuri markets. A company spokesperson shared the secret behind this exciting growth: "The growth reflects Zee’s content strategy anchored on new premieres, classic titles and data driven curation." Zee’s movie family spans a whopping 22 channels in six languages and reached over 550 million viewers by September 2025. Why do advertisers love this genre? Because it’s big, consistent, and delivers! Zee’s treasure chest includes family dramas, action-packed flicks, and romantic gems like Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Karan Arjun, and Bobby. Just to put it in perspective, Hum Aapke Hain Koun alone has entertained 250 million viewers in the last five years. Now that’s blockbuster magic!
