November 5, 2025

Hold your hats, energy fans! Suzlon Energy just unleashed a blockbuster performance for the second quarter of FY26. The company’s Profit After Tax zoomed by a jaw-dropping 538% year-on-year to reach Rs 1,279 crore – the highest quarterly profit in 30 years! Revenue was no less impressive, climbing 85% to a hefty Rs 3,866 crore, powered by the booming wind turbine generator (WTG) segment and mega delivery drives. But wait, there’s more! EBITDA shot up 145% to Rs 721 crore, and Profit Before Tax jumped 179% to Rs 562 crore. A key secret sauce behind this dazzling growth was the recognition of Rs 717 crore in incremental deferred tax assets during the quarter. Suzlon’s dynamite performance was unveiled during market hours, sending its stock price up 1.1% to Rs 60.09 on the NSE. On the ground, the company smashed its own records with the highest-ever second quarter deliveries in India — 565 MW of pure green energy power! The orderbook crossed a mighty 6 GW, with a massive 2 GW added in just the first half of FY26, hitting a grand total of 6.2 GW. This strong pipeline confirms Suzlon’s top spot as India’s largest homegrown wind power manufacturer, boasting a total capacity of 4.5 GW. CEO JP Chalasani beamed, "We are happy to report our highest-ever Q2 deliveries in India, which led to strong performance and profitability. Our 6.2 GW orderbook reaffirms the strength of our strategy and execution. With a clear focus on our core business, expanded manufacturing capacity, and world-class products designed and made in India, we are well positioned for sustainable, profitable growth." What’s next? Suzlon sees a bright future as India aims for a staggering 122 GW wind capacity by FY32. The big push comes from hybrid projects, round-the-clock (RTC) power, and firm dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) initiatives. The commercial and industrial sector alone expects a titanic 100 GW of renewable energy demand by 2030, with over 6.6 GW of new wind power installations expected this year. As of September 30, 2025, Suzlon holds a strong net cash of Rs 1,480 crore, ready to fuel its green energy conquest. The battle for clean power is heating up, and Suzlon is riding the winds of change with roaring success!
