Not to be left behind, 1999 batch senior IAS officer Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, who was Principal Secretary of the Commercial Taxes & Excise Department, was placed in full additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government (Poll) at the General Administration Department (GAD). This new post adds political pulse to his administrative work. Fresh faces also popped up in the mix! K. Haritha from the 2013 batch snagged the Special Secretary position in the Finance Department. Meanwhile, M. Haritha, also from the 2013 batch and the Special Secretary in the Education Department, moved on to become the Collector of Rajanna Sircilla, ready to take charge on the ground.
