Goa reported 10 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total active cases to 61. All cases were sent to home isolation, with no hospitalisations. None of the hospitalised patients were serious or required oxygen.

India recorded its biggest surge in COVID-19 cases in seven months, with the number of active cases surpassing the 4,000 mark. According to the latest update from the Union Health Ministry, 797 new cases were reported, bringing the total number of active cases to 4,091.
