The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has now allowed National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC) to be issued with a limit of Rs 3,000 without any KYC. This regulatory change is expected to increase the adoption of NCMC and make it more attractive to users.

With over 900 cases of adoptions pending in courts, the central government has passed an issue to transfer all cases to the concerned District Magistrates in attempts to ignore the delay. This issue was in cue with the September 1 notification of Juvenile Justice Model (Amendment) Rules 2022. However, parents are concerned for the additional steps and time to be consumed in transferring their long pending adoption cases. Once under the concerned DM, they are allowed to keep one case for maximum of 2 months.
