The Tatas-owned airline, Air India will be expanding its airline range by over 25% with 30 new aircrafts over the course of 15 months. The expansion includes 21 Airbus A320neos and 4 Airbus A321neos, which will cover domestic sectors as well as short international route; alongside 5 B777-200LRs, which will connect Indian metropolitans to the United States of America. With the 5 B777 joining the fleet within December 2022-March 2023, the 4 A321 and the 21 Airbus joining in early and late 2023, this expansion will be the airline’s first major.
