Sharad Pawar, the supremo of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), revealed that some members had left the party due to an inquiry by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Pawar targeted Ajit Pawar and the rebel MLAs who joined the Shiv Sena-BJP government, accusing them of false claims and alleging that the Centre had used the ED inquiry as leverage to force them out of the party. Pawar commended those members who chose to remain and face the inquiry. He also criticized the government’s actions regarding the takeover of a Gandhian institution’s land in Varanasi. Additionally, he highlighted the issues of unemployment and farmers’ struggles in Maharashtra.
