Randhir Jaiswal, a 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, has taken over as the new spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) following the appointment of Arindam Bagchi as India’s permanent representative to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva.
