More than a million people gathered at Brazil’s Copacabana beach to witness the end of Madonna’s ‘Celebration’ world tour. The crowd, estimated to be 1.6 million, braved the heat to enjoy the free concert, where Madonna performed hits like ‘Like a Prayer’ and ‘Vogue’. The concert also featured Brazilian pop artists Anitta and Pabllo Vittar, along with musicians from samba schools. Authorities put in place measures to manage the large crowd, following vigilance over heat-related health problems since a fan died at a Taylor Swift concert last year.
