Canara Bank and Bank of Maharashtra are planning to raise up to ₹4,500 crore in bond sales to meet the surging demand for credit in India’s rapidly expanding economy. Canara Bank will issue additional tier-1 (AT-1) bonds in a base size of ₹1,000 crore with a greenshoe option of ₹2,500 crore on December 7.
