The 16th iteration of the trilateral exercise ‘Dosti’ has begun in the Maldives, highlighting collaboration and interoperability among the coast guards of Maldives, India, and Sri Lanka. The exercise aims to address shared maritime security concerns through collaboration and strengthen friendship between the participating nations. Various maritime activities, including interdiction operations and search and rescue missions, will be conducted during the exercise. Sri Lanka joined the programme in 2012, and this year, Bangladesh is participating as an observer.
