The Indian Army has started the induction of control and reporting systems under ‘Project Akashteer’ to bolster its air defence capabilities. ‘Project Akashteer’ aims to deliver an unprecedented level of situational awareness and control for the force to ensure safety of friendly aircraft and engage hostile aircraft in contested airspace. The deployment of ‘Akashteer’ began with the flagging off of the first batch of control centres from BEL-Ghaziabad on Thursday.
TCS has won a 15-year deal from Aviva, the UK insurance company, to transform and enhance its UK Life business. The deal will cover over 5.5 million policies and will be managed by TCS subsidiary, Diligenta. This strategic partnership aims to improve customer experience, simplify operations, and support growth ambitions.
Kozhikode Corporation will implement K-Smart technology as part of the government’s initiative to transition to a paperless administration process. The services, including registration, licensing, tax payment, and complaint redressal, will be gradually digitised and made available online. A facilitation center will assist the public in using the technology, and training is being provided to employees.
