Protests by BJP-JD(S) workers in Karnataka have escalated following the removal of a saffron flag with Lord Hanuman’s portrait from a flag post. Section 144 has been enforced in the village and police personnel have been deployed. Demonstrations are being held by BJP leaders and workers in all district headquarters of the state.
