A 24-year-old woman in Pilibhit is in critical condition after her husband violently kicked her in the abdomen, causing severe intestinal injuries. The victim’s brother has filed a complaint and charges have been filed against the husband and eight family members. The accused will soon be arrested.

A woman lieutenant-colonel posted in Jammu and Kashmir has filed a rape case against her colleague and his mother with the Cantonment police station in Varanasi. The accused allegedly promised to marry her, engaged in unnatural sex, and blackmailed her with a video. The officer and his mother are also accused of demanding Rs 80 lakh as dowry. Investigation is underway.
