This facility is for people with genuine emergencies and is not for regular consular services. The consulate has provided an emergency helpline number for applicants to call before coming in for any emergency service. The services available include emergency visas, emergency certificates, and transportation of mortal remains. An emergency service fee will be charged for emergency visas.

Google is working on a new feature called Satellite SOS for Pixel phones, which allows users to contact emergency services and share their location without a cell phone or WiFi signal. Similar to Apple’s Emergency SOS via satellite, this feature is accessible in the Safety & Emergency section of the Settings. The settings indicate a global support and a partnership with Garmin for emergency response. The exact launch details are yet to be revealed.
