Cold-pressed juice maker The Fresh Press has secured an undisclosed amount of equity funding from Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund (GCCF), backed by Nikhil Kamath. The funding will be utilized to expand their presence to 150 stores, hire more employees, and for marketing purposes. The Fresh Press aims to cater to the increasing health consciousness among Indian consumers and plans to introduce new products with sun-dried fruits.
Vodafone Idea CEO Akshaya Moondra has confirmed that the company will wrap up equity funding talks in the ongoing quarter. This will be followed by increased bank lending. Talks with equity investors have advanced since the previous quarter. Moondra also revealed that one promoter has yet to provide promised financial support of Rs 2,000 crore.
