Canada’s foreign minister Melanie Joly confirmed a fourth Canadian death from the attack by Hamas on Israel and is working on evacuating citizens from Gaza and the West Bank. The death toll for Canadians now stands at four with three still missing. Joly stated that Canada has an agreement with Israel to get Canadians out of Gaza and also plans to evacuate citizens from the West Bank by bus into Jordan. Thousands of Palestinians have already fled the north of the Gaza Strip in anticipation of an Israeli ground assault.
