The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has released the results of the high school and intermediate board examinations for the year 2024. The pass percentage for Class 10 is 89.55, while for Class 12 it is 82.60. Prachi Nigam and Shubham Verma secured the top positions in Class 10 and Class 12, respectively. A total of 23 candidates achieved a perfect score in the JEE-Main 2024 January session, setting a new record. Telangana had the highest number of top scorers, while Gujarat produced the female topper. Notably, no candidates from the gen-EWS, SC, and ST categories achieved a perfect score, and for the second consecutive year, there were no female candidates among the top scorers. The exam recorded a high attendance percentage and saw a significant increase in the number of aspirants compared to the previous year.
