Kolkata Police, in association with Disha Eye Hospitals, conducted a free eye screening camp for public transporters such as auto drivers, taxi drivers, and rickshaw pullers at Gariahat crossing. The camp was inaugurated by former cricketer Sambaran Banerjee, officer-in-charge Asish Kumar Roy, and Debasish Bhattacharya, MD and chairman of Disha Eye Hospitals. Similar camps will be organized at other locations in the coming days. The initiative aims to provide basic amenities to these integral members of society.
