The farmers’ protest in India is set to continue as talks between the Centre and the farmers have not reached a resolution. The primary demands of the protesters include legal guarantee to Minimum Support Price (MSP), using a comprehensive cost formula to calculate MSP, and farm loan waivers. Despite the government assuring farmers of further discussions, the protest is expected to intensify with the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) joining the agitation.
