PM Modi has laid the foundation stone of Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. The temple, being constructed by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, will take five years to be ready. It will be built with the same pink colored stone used in Ayodhya Ram Mandir and Somnath Mandir, and will have a 108-feet high shikara. Lord Kalki is believed to be the tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Members of the Muslim community have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone for a mosque in Ayodhya’s Dhannipur village. They argue that if PM Modi is inaugurating the place of worship for Hindus, he should also do the same for the mosque. The appeal comes ahead of PM Modi’s visit to Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple.
