The spread of misinformation undermines public support for climate action and hampers the adoption of solutions. Advocacy groups, governments, and international organizations are working to confront and counter climate misinformation.
A large majority of US consumers value sustainable living and are willing to pay more for products with sustainable packaging. However, many brands engage in greenwashing, misleading consumers about their environmental practices. This article focuses on the diamond industry, highlighting the distinction between natural and lab-grown diamonds and the potential greenwashing associated with the latter. It also discusses the environmental and social aspects of diamond production and the importance of transparency and regulation in the industry.
