Karnataka BJP aims to win all 28 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The party plans to launch a campaign highlighting the worsening finances and lack of development work in the state. The Congress government has allocated a significant amount of funds for guarantee schemes. However, the BJP and JDS criticize the conditional implementation of guarantees and view it as a strategy to attract votes. Opposition parties also claim that the state’s financial health has deteriorated due to inadequate resource mobilization under the Congress.

The Central government has accepted more than 10,000 claims of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under the Vivad se Vishwas – I scheme, granting about ₹256 crore to firms entangled in disputes. The scheme was announced in this year’s Budget to provide relief to MSMEs impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
