GVMC plans to release six lakh Gambusia fish into Visakhapatnam’s water bodies as a means of mosquito control and to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases. The move is part of the ‘Friday-Dry Day’ initiative, with 20 lakh fish set to be released across 7,130 water bodies in total.
