Bollywood’s king and 2022 chief guest of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Shah Rukh Khan has resumed his 2019 postponed scholarship in partnership with the festival and LA Trobe University. The scholarship, having been enabled in the past, has been the most participated in, and will cover full fee scholarship for research at the world’s renowned university. Eligibility criteria for applying is Indian resident female, with a completed Research degree in the past 10 years.

Abhishek Bachchan will be getting honoured with the Leadership in Cinema award at the 13th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, where he’ll be delivering few words of wisdom upon the journey of Indian cinema. Alongside other A-listers, Bachchan will be attending the 12-20 August festival, in vigor of celebrating Indian content. The actor expressed glee and warmth for being a part of the auspicious event.
