India is revising its operational and capability-development plans to counter China’s naval presence in the IOR and its growing collusiveness with Pakistan, said Navy chief Admiral R Hari Kumar. China has a sustained presence with six to eight warships in the IOR, along with research and spy vessels. India aims to increase its fleet of warships, aircraft, helicopters, and drones by 2035.
