In the heat of the suspended Agneepath-recruitment by Nepalese, newly badged Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande reaches Nepal for a four-day visit. The soon-to-be honoured General of Nepal Army, will be addressing all Agneepath-scheme related queries to the young Nepalese soldiers, apart from meeting with his counterpart General Prabu Ram and PM Sher Bahadur Deuba. The meet is about to enhance bilateral military connections with the country.

A two-day seminar was materialized on Thursday and Friday by over 200 Indian Armed Forces attendees, comprising of Lt Gen R.P. Kalita, who restored emphasis on preparations for the safety of Northern borders in case of an occurrence. The summit unfolded in talks of ‘Demystifying the Dragon’ in relation to India-China issues and further focused upon future actions to lead the Armed Forces. The event, which involved Lt Gen Raj Shukla too, put special pressure upon security plans, capability enhancing programs and military modernization.
