Pulwama’s two pockets in south Kashmir will experience a 96-hour internet shutdown to prevent deterioration in public order. The reason for the shutdown has not been provided, but security agencies have invoked the Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services (Public Emergency or Public Safety) Rules, 2017. The shutdown will cover a three-kilometre radius in Pulwama from November 5 to November 8, 2023.
