A former bank manager has been sentenced to seven years in prison and fined Rs 15.1 crore for a case of forgery. The order was delivered by a CBI court in Gujarat, 23 years after the FIR was registered. The accused, Preeti Vijay Sahijwani, was a senior manager of IOB posted at a branch in Vastrapur when the crime was committed.
