A former teacher job aspirant who had filed a case against alleged scam-tainted recruitments in Kolkata will contest the LS polls from Bengal’s Tamluk constituency on an ISF ticket. The candidate, Mahiuddin Ahmed, filed the case and obtained the first stay from Justice Abhijit Ganguly. Ganguly is now BJP’s Tamluk candidate. Mahiuddin Ahmed cited his decision to join politics as an effort to raise issues of the deprived and rejected suggestions that his presence would benefit BJP’s Ganguly.
